Here is a picture of the hub of my rear wheel. Looks like a mess of spider cracks. Is my wheel pooched?

I am just concerned because when I was knocking out one of the old bearings I didn't realise I was hitting the hub and not the bearing until I had hit it a few times. The bearing seat looked fine but I didn't notice this until I started putting the wheel on the bike.

Just triggered a memory, I tried heating the hub before knocking out the bearing, that would probably explain the cracked paint.

Looks like the surface finish is checking.
I would:
check the torque on the pulley (or, rotor?) fasteners.
sand a small area that displays the cracks, to see if the they go away.
