I'm curious what means would it take to transform Uly into a Bomber. That is: Ulysses with XB12S or XB12Ss seat/tail. Anyone done that? What parts are necessary to convert the tail section? Do you need only to replace:

1. tail section - part that holds the tripple tail - together with tail tamp and number plate bracket ofc,
2. seat - does the XB12Ss seat just snap on once you replace the tail section? sounds way too easy to be true.

What other parts are needed?

Not quite. He wants a Lightning Long tail. The Lightning Long and Ulysses share the same side rails, except the SS rails are drilled and tapped for passenger peg loops, which you don't need if keeping Uly pegs. The rear most piece, seat, seat latch, and taillight are more or less the only differences. Lightning Short and Lightning long have the same rear-most tail piece.

This seems a super sweet mod, as I have seen photos of this kind of thing on the interwebs. Anyone have a list of parts/modifications needed? Advice?

Yeah, that's Bomber. I guess parts are what Phelan posted just wondering if that's it.. sounds just too easy : ) What about the 'trunk pan' (plastic under the seat) is it the same?

The front undertail portion is the same. The SS tail doesn't use an undertail portion beyond this piece, whereas the Ulysses does.
