Looking to find this piece 'Ulysses Bracket Support, Fairing'. Mine is cracked. Buell Parts could 'order them from Buell' before they closed...but then they closed and I didn't order one.

I am specifically looking for the left side fairing section.

Thanks

You can get it new, but its over $300. Made of magnesium, so not reparable.

Are you sure it is magnesium? Because that is the first I've heard of it, and they don't feel like magnesium. The magnesium tail section on my 1190SX is lighter than the Uly fairing brackets.

Magnesium parts usually have 'magnesium' cast or forged somewhere, just so that no one tries a repair with conventional welding or does any grinding on the part.

It's cast aluminum, powder coated to that color.

On this topic my 06 uly came scuffed up from the harley dealer a few years ago. The fall slightly bent the brackets and now my headlight is a bit crooked. Could I just shim it straight or do I need to replace it? Bending it back seems like a bad idea due to the cast metal.

Blakeaspencer, there are three screws you can loosen on the headlamp for adjustment, one on each side and one on the bottom. You should be able to loosen them, readjust as needed, then tighten it back down.

I can do that but the fairing is still crooked.
