Photo from the surplus stuff at the factory for sale by LAP:

seat

They also have a bunch of fork legs (including a case of brand-new 1125CR fork legs), plastic bodywork for tubers, rear shocks, all kinds of stuff. Info comes from pics and text on Facebook from people who were there. Call or e-mail LAP for info.

They need to find a way to show pics of the big ticket items, I'd have bought a motor if I had known they had them. Still, might pick up a seat if the price is right.

I need a Uly low seat but it seems like a pain. Can't even see a pic or get a price. Downloaded the inventory list and I could not open it.
I need to call them. Now I need to find out what part of the world they are in, figure the time zone differential and call when there is someone there to answer the phone.

Maybe I can get my old seat re-covered.

Last time I checked, none of these old Buell parts are on the inventory list. LAP is in Michigan but I'd guess the phone number for the sale is at the factory in East Troy.

^ Somebody just posted to Facebook this morning that the XB motor (a 2008 I believe) and at least one ET-V2 EBR engine are available for sale. I believe he said the XB motor was marked $2500 but they will consider offers on this stuff.

All the surplus parts are "cash and carry"; they will not ship.

I have a feeling that these items are factory stock and being moved for operating costs. Much like the yard sale when EBR was starting up after HD. Guessing there are different accounts within the larger company.

I wonder if the XB engine was a dyno mule.

Here's a pic of the XB engine borrowed from Facebook. There's an odd fitting that both oil lines appear to which both oil lines appear to be connected. I'll bet you're right about it being a dyno mule. "Comes with Moto-man break-in from the factory!"
