hi all, could someone enlighten me as to the first year and model of rubber mounted engines for buell. i am considering a change from my uly to something much closer to the ground. not having much luck selling the uly and i really dont want to give up buells altogether.i am thinking my leggs could handle a bike closer to the ground.thx pat.

All air-cooled Buells have rubber-mounted engines.

You're welcome. There are lots of models to choose from; how much lower do you need to be? You can even keep your Uly and lower it by installing suspension components from an XT or Ss.

The forks, rear shock, and kickstand are all you need to lower the bike. The 06-07 SS will give you the biggest drop. It will be below 30"
