50ish thousand miles on my 08 with the original fan. My 06 is at 40ish thousand, fan was replaced sometime under warranty, it sounded funny but never failed.

The fan in my 07 outlasted the original engine at 30k miles, but I went ahead and installed a new replacement while I had the bike apart. I still have the original fan for a spare.

My 06 has 32ish...original fan. Been rattling for years. About 3 years ago I took my spare fan out of the topcase and put it on the shelf in the garage - noise never changed, never got louder, I said "I want my luggage space back".

AFAIK mine is stock, but it could have been changed before me. 72,700 miles.

Not mine!

The original fan on my '06 crapped out August last year.
Made clickity, clickity noise for about 6 years, louder during the cool down phase.
Finally stopped running, that was about 32k miles.

Well not quite 50,000 but at 44,000 it's still going. Way back it was making weird sounds and I bought a new one but I think it was just some leaves got back there and finally dried out enough to depart on their own. No problem since. Still have my new spare.

'06 original made it to around 30,000. Now at 62,000 and the second one is starting to give me issues.

Replaced the fan on my '06 today, actually. Mine has been sounding funny since early this season and finally died a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a new one from TwinMotorcycles (great service, by the way), and between my work and my kid, I finally got around to it this afternoon.
