Anybody know what this is called, and if it's replaceable or serviceable? Not sure, but I think mine is loose or just toast. I'll post a pic shortly for your thoughts.

BTW the motor mount and bolt are from an '03 in case you're wondering. Had to replace it and found this one cheap. It very well may be bad as well, gonna replace it soon too.

Your motor mount looks a whole lot better than mine did...

Doesn't look bad at all. If it was completely shot the bracket part bolted to the engine would be sitting on the large washer. As it is, check the rubber for any signs of cracking.

Not the motor mount itself, but the bushing/mount it bolts into, in the frame, is the one I'm talking about.

Is that the inferior clutch cable guide that snaps off and allows cable to melt on headers?

If you're talking about the hex piece above the mount, that's a threaded insert into the frame for the mount bolt to screw into. IIRC it's supposed to be flush with the frame, maybe (if you're lucky) it unscrewed when you removed the mount bolt before. If you're unlucky then maybe the threads into the frame are bad. YMMV but I wouldn't ride it like that before fixing it... pretty sure it gets red threadlocker into the frame, but only antiseize on that big bolt!!!

And I've never seen a motor mount like that one, by the way. The rubber parts aren't in the usual places, were the '03's different?

'03s were different, yes. I'm hoping it just backed out. I looked up the part; it's a thread reducer. I'll check it out.

You mean the thread insert,
Number 11 on the picture

Like XBimmer said ,clean it and install with red thread locker.

The early motor mounts have different rubbers and are completely wrong designed! ,well not completely wrong but it was designed as a engine mount like they use for a car engine. If it was turned 90 degree it could
have handled the load much better.
