I screwed up and kinked mine when rotating the motor, to the point only one strand is still holding on. I'm about spent on this rebuild, so looking to spend less than the $60 they cost new.

Get some new inner wires and soldering nipples and put it together yourself!
(use a soldering iron)

Done it this way last year with the ones on my 12s and its working great!
