I sold my 06 Uly last week, bought a Moto Guzzi Stelvio. The Uly had 15,000 miles on it, I put on the last 8,000. Problems? The fuel pump wiring rubbed through and I had to pull it out and reinsulate, but the bike still ran fine, the pump just ran all the time. And I replaced the rear wheel bearings because there was a little rusty grease coming from the right bearing. Other than that, a great running, excellent handling bike. I bought an 09 Stelvio with 2,100 miles on it, literally like new, so I will see how it holds up. So far, I think the Uly has better suspension and is smoother at freeway speeds, since it has a rubber mounted engine. The Stelvio is a more polished machine, and the six speed tranny shifts as smooth and light as any bike I have owned. It's a pleasure to ride around town without the CLUNKY shifting. I think the Stelvio has a nicer exhaust note and a much peppier power band, although they supposedly make the same hp. As far as off road capability, they are both too heavy and tall for that kind of riding. I have a Suzuki DR650 for that, and if I drop it, no harm done. I'll miss all the great info and well mannered commenters on this website.

Those are great looking bikes, and it's always nice to find a real low mile used bike. Let us know how you like it after some miles.

I like those Stelvios. Good luck with it. I hear Guzzis are great, reliable bikes these days.
