'09 XT fork is 43mm, correct? Besides new oil seals and dust covers what other parts are best replaced at the time of service? thanks.

Other than fluid that seems to be all that is necessary. Have fun. To facilitate driving that seal into place real nice and easy make sure that you push those bushing up as far as they are supposed to go. If you don't then the seal will run into it and not seat where it is supposed to. So if the seal just doesn't want to go into place then it is because the bushing wasn't pushed all the way to where it is supposed to be.
