I took my Uly in for BAS recall today. It had been dying occasionally, and I would have to toggle the kill switch before it would start again. Latus HD in the Portland OR area took care of it while I waited about an Hour, so I was pleased by their service and no charge for recall. I hope this takes care of that.

Did they replace the BAS or simply do the relocation? It is possible for the issue to keep occurring if the sensor was damaged over the years in the original location.

What years were recalled? Can I just take mine in also? I am outside of Portland and could give Latus a call.

I believe the '06 and '07 years were the only one's affected by the recall.

Back in the day they moved my original BAS to the rear seat latch area. Later I had to take it back in to replace the BAS sensor itself.

That was like seven years and fifty thousand miles ago. No problems with it since.

Froggy, I assumed it would be a replacement and relocate, but now that I look at the repair order, it was just a relocate. Not what I was hoping for.
Goldtooth, your '06 should be covered, but just a relocate, as Froggy pointed out. Give them a call and they'll ask for your VIN# to verify.
