Just over a couple of years ago I bought a couple of Shorai batteries for my son's and for my ULY. His is still going strong. Mine bought the farm, probably because of the original stock regulator which I've since changed to a Mosfet. Anyways, I sent my Shorai back and since it was out of the replacement phase of the warranty which is up to 2 years they said they'd sell me another for 1/2 price which I declined. They ended up doing me one better and that was to send me their Largest Shorai for free, a LFX36L3-BS12. Those retail at $329 on their website.
It was a battery that someone had sent back but Shorai tested it to be just fine.

I had told them I had a Harley that it would be used in. I think whoever originally bought it did not know how to set the battery up when they received it. It had a so-called Series bar that you have to install to get the full voltage out of it. Their largest batteries can't
be shipped without this bar being left un-installed. Anyway's my Harley loves it's new expensive battery. Fires that old FLH right up.

Is that 36 larger than the stock. I got the 21 series and it was the same size as the stock battery

It took awhile and multiple phone calls to Shorai to "remind" them to ship me a battery so I got a Harley brand battery for my ULY and was lucky that Shorai finally had a "returned" battery that was perfect for my 97 FLH bagger. Persistence won out.
