I have been thinking about picking up a stock pipe and having Odie do a pipe conversion. It takes a little time to get use-2-it . But WOW it really works !!! You will need better lighting , because you'll drive faster ! Specifically bought it because next to the Race Pipe it was the quietest I could find in an aftermarket exhaust. I liked the sound, as I had the twin outlets. The bike seemed to perform a little closer to the stock pipe with good low and mid torque I had the race pipe on my second 06 Uly and I liked the sound a bit better as is was little quieter. It seemed the bike didn't have the same pick up in the low to mid range as with stock, but climbed through the rev range just fine. To Froggy's question, I think I want a little more of the vtwin rumble than a stock pipe gives me, but not stupid loud or even moderately loud. I would like to keep the low and mid range power vs a quick trip to the rev limiter like the race pipe. Now THAT was loud.... I am thinking of getting a D & D for my 08XT....
