OK, I made the difficult decision to put my ULY up for sale which someday I will regret as I’d like to have several bikes back that I sold……..
I’ve had it for 4-1/2 years and loved it!
Please keep in mind it’s not based on the ECM issue I had last week as the bikes is has a new one and running like a top. Wife and I took it up north last weekend and it could not have performed better.
The decision is only because I normally swap bikes every five years or so and getting the bug!

Some quick details
2010 XB12X – just shy of 27K
New tires , 1500 miles.
2 sets of Buell bags: 3 piece journey bags w/brackets 2 piece Outdoorsman bags w/brackets
Buell tank Bag
Buell tall windscreen w/ Madstad adjustable bracket and original smoke screen.
Buell Quest GPS
Also have several spare maintenance items like brake pads air filter etc.

Just putting a feeler out and thought I’d let you all know first as I have not yet officially listed on line but plan to do so soon.

Donald,
What do you plan to ask for your ULY? Maybe though you should hold on to it and wait for the AX.

Man I have always loved the 2010 for the black frame/tank... What a sexy machine! Would love it if I didn't have the 2009...

I have thought hard and long about the reasons why you would want to do this. The end result is that if you tell me what you want for it, within reason, I will buy it and then ship it to the UK.

I'd be interested in a set of the Journey bags if you'd consider selling them on their own!

Guys
Sorry for the delayed response, just been busy as were in the process of selling our house as well.
I plan to sell the bike with everything listed as a package.
What I'm confused on is the big difference between KBB and NADA. For a bare XB12X KBB=6270 NADA=8195.
Cycle Trader, banks, insurance uses NADA as I made calls and checked it out. But KBB is still out there.......
So, I split it down the middle and add a small amount on all the accessories. Bottom line, The non negotiable price is $7500.00 I truly feel it's worth every penny and forgot to mention above that it has the Tour-Tech hand guard add on also.. I do have two very interested parties that are fully aware of the price.
Hopefully she finds a good home!

KBB is a benchmark price that has little to do with reality. NADA is a completely different benchmark price that has little to do with reality. If you average the two, you get a third price that has little to do with reality.

Happy to help. : )

The best "real" price is to look at completed auctions on Ebay. Or put your bike on ebay with a low reserve. The first approach will tell you what your bike might be worth, the second will tell you exactly what your bike is worth.

Ya I knew that type of reply would be very quick.
The reality is the price i have set.
Happy to be clear!

So.............LONG story short....
The guy that "committed" to buy my ULY for 7K (all items included) just called and bailed! Said his "GF" had a fit! How Sad......

The bike is now up for sale again.
Details of the bike are on the top of the post.
if your serious please PM.

That will be a really nice setup for somebody for $7k. Being a 2010 with full hard luggage, it's $2k better than a lot of the $5k uly's that have been selling lately.

I've figured out how to get new open source street maps working with the Quest. They take up a little more space so you may only get two or three states worth of space in at a time, but when you line those tiles up along a planned route that means you can get several thousand miles worth of detailed map routes loaded no problem.

I have Gentleman Jim's old Zumo now, and after spending a stupid number of hours and dollars getting it working again, I'm not sure it's ultimately any better than a quest. More space for data, bigger screen, less fragile antenna. But much less useful screen layout, much more fragile unit, too expensive, awkwardly big, and just kind of generally annoying.
