Author Message   Tempest766 Posted on Saturday, July 26, 2014 - 03:10 pm:        This process does not work on my 08 XT with the 09 ECU firmware. shorting pins 1 and 2 (vertical on the right side with the plug lock at 12oclock) does absolutely nothing. The lights come on, and the oil and neutral light come on, but no flashes after 8, 10, or 15 seconds. I have intermittent and sporatic check engine light but the process described in the archives does not show me any flashes or error codes as described; not even the preliminary flash group after 8 seconds.   Tempest766 Posted on Sunday, July 27, 2014 - 07:42 am:        my bad...kill switch was in the "stop" position.
