Hey fellow Uly owners...

Is there anyone out there with an set of 08-09-10 throttle cables lying around the garage that can tell me how long they are, or just might know? Hughlysses... Froggy...Ratbuell...?

Yes, this is me being lazy.... I'm going to order some new slightly longer cables, but I'd rather not pull mine out, and have the Uly down prior...

Thanks Guys!!

I don't have any cables lying around but I have installed some two inch roxx risers with the stock cable. I believe the bars are also swept back a bit.

You can probably get it to work but you must re-route the cables to the outside between the frame and the fork tube. Seems like I also had to re-position the front brake line which was the easiest. Just make sure the cables are not pinched on full lock. I used a tie strap to gently hold the cables in a way they would not pinch. I'm sure if you search, there are many posts on this subject.

Hi Hoover uly,

I've actually already done all the re-routing and whatnot. I know this "works", however, my ultimate preference would be to get some longer cables from Motion Pro, or Barnetts, and route it like it was originally.

Thanks Though.

Not sure how to give you a useful measurement but hope this helps. Both cables have a 90 degree bend at the throttle body that is two inches from end to centerline of the cable. The N0307 has a 90 degree adapter at the grip and the N0308 has a straight adapter at the grip. I've unscrewed both adapters and measured the cable sheath from the end where the adapters screw in to the centerline of the 90 at the TB. The N0307 has a 35 1/4 inch sheath and the N0308 has a 33 7/8 inch sheath. I also noticed that the cables are a different length. Pulling the cables out one end as far as they would go, I have 7 1/4 inches out on the N0307 and 7 1/2 inches out on the N0308. Lastly, both cables have additional covering from the TB out about 26 inches for wear protection. Hope this makes sense.
