Etennuly and Motorbike,

The Radians do not go far into the ear canal and you can control how much goes by how your place the soft material in your ear to start.

If you look at my pictures, the top one shows that the beige do not protrude far and the last one shows how it covers the entire ear opening. In fact you could make the plugs and grind down or cut off the part that goes into the ear and I suspect they would still work.

Those blue Hearos are the same I use, I usually get mine from Earplugstore.com, if you buy in bulk they are cheap.

14 packs gets you just about 200 pairs for about $65 including priority shipping.

Ive been using these http://www.earplugstore.com/silnatrubear.html for the last 3 years. Really quiet and pretty comfortable, well as comfortable as anything plastic stuffed in your ear can be.

I have some logitech ue200 earbuds which I have then created my own tips like here: http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Noise-Isolatin g-Earbud-Tips/?ALLSTEPS

I used these earplugs: http://www.macksearplugs.com/details/noise-ear-plu gs/safe-sound-ultra-soft-foam-earplugs

Keeps out noise and lets me listen to music if I want.
