Well, today I put tire number three on the front. I remember number two, the only torque wrench I had to do left hand threads was a beam type which is kind of awkward. Today I'm gathering my tools and look at the adapter that comes in the tool kit, it has a hole in the middle! All I had to do was use a 3/8 drive socket on the adapter then slide a long 3/8 extension through the axle and use a regular torque wrench on the right side. Well, live and learn. |

That's how I do it too, only because I read about it here somewhere on BadWeb. Before I read that, I went out and bought a beam type torque wrench just to use for the front wheel. My Snap-On click wrenches are only designed to torque in a clockwise direction. Funny how simple some things really are but we make them difficult anyway. |
