I would like to put a new set of HD Plugs in the bike...However...the PO seems to have fitted a set of Autolite plugs ....and i cant get them out...mainly because i dont know what size they are. 5/8 is to small to fit on them...and 3/4' is too big. Any clues what size they are and any tips/tricks to change them?

I'll be honest...I wasn't looking forward to trying to change the plugs after i saw the PO didnt use any anti seize on the axles...The spark plugs came out and went back in easily...I'm a happy guy now that i know what condition my plugs and threads are in


Couldn't for the life of me find an 11/16 spark plug socket...but 18mm worked just fine

If you have sticky plugs...WARM the engine first. Don't get it hot-hot, that can make the threads in the heads weak, but if you warm it up it can help break things loose.

18mm common size on the Japanese bikes.Some of the NGK's for Buell will come this size if you are not careful which letter is in designator.
