Anyone using or having used this that can share some experiences? Just another "snake oil" additive or is it as good as they claim?

I would be wary of running anything out of ordinary in the tranny.
Too slippery = messed up clutch
Exotic solvents = messed up wiring

To answer the question: Have I used Militec engine/tranny oil additive?

NO.

The bigger question is, why do you think these additives are needed?
IMO. In the long run it's better to step up and use the recommended lubricants.
Than trying to second guess the engineers that designed the engine and transmission; and, developed the lubrication requirements.

I would tend to agree with this. And while you can use fully synthetic oils I fail to see the advantage unless you were riding in VERY, VERY hot conditions all the time. Or in other words conditions hot enough not to be wanting to ride in unless force on you. This also goes for lighter than 20w50 weight oils. My bike is fine with it at sub zero temps and anything much lower I would think twice about riding in anyway as do not like icy roads much. Been there/ done that.

All the bike needs is a good branded oil changed at about 2500 miles with a new oil filter. Yes you can get something that is not branded but can you be sure of that products quality. Or more to the point are you willing to risk the long term effects it may have on your engine.

I run the engine on Repsol 20W50 mineral oil and the gearbox on the standard Harley stuff. Changed every 2,500 miles like Uly man says. No ice in sw Portugal, Uly man!

From this I take there isn't much experience on the subject, and I don't feel like be a pilot on this, especially thinking on any longterm effects that might pop up a few thousand miles down the road...

The sales arguments & statements sounds solid enough, but then again what doesn't when you're selling something that doesn't have a looong proven track record.

Decision taken, I'll stay away : )

I am on full synth, Motul 7100 20w50 on engine and Motul transoil technosynthese 10w40 on the tranny. In mid-Brazil, constant tropical conditions, and never have to worry much about coldstarts below 70 degrees. Think the coldest I ever had was 55, on a cold rainy night : )

Edit: Heat on the other hand, is sometimes a bit of an issue, with a normal summer day between 100-110...

Well there you go. Motul should be good as any for the engine hole.
Though, I would go with Formula + from Harley, for the transmission.

I was going to say that about the transmission oil. I have been told that many oils ruin the stator.
