Does your bike have white indicators? |

Yes. I'm buying another set of wheels for TKC80s. |

Your dealer is mistaken. They are not on backorder and haven't been for a long time. We have them in stock if they persist in telling you things that aren't true, see http://americansportbike.com/newdir/Item/17330 Note that the bearings aren't pressed in from the factory. There is a right way and a wrong way to do it. I can do it before we ship them if you order from us for $20 more. Al |

Jesse, listen to Al. Order the wheel, bearing and axle kit from him and pay him the $20 to install the bearings. Money well spent. I have dealt with Al and his business, American Sportbike, and they are top-notch. |

^+1. $20 is less than you would spend on all-thread, nuts, and washers to do a questionable job of installing them yourself, not to mention it's a WHOLE lot less aggravating. |

+2 $20 is a bargain compared to the time and effort on your part required to do it. |

Well heck, nothing more to learn here. The 3 posts above have it all covered. |

"We are also the same age with the same bike. Have fun." I bought it in Long Beach and rode it home last May. My two sons and I drove our Firebird out there and they drove the car back. It was a fun trip except for being so cold on the bike. I wore long johns, two pairs of pants, insulated Carhart bibs, lined leather jacket nearly the whole way home to ND. This spring it's getting an EBR ECM, an XB9 primary conversion, and the TKC80s on their own set of wheels. The other set of wheels will have D616s. |

"This spring it's getting an EBR ECM". Just as a matter of interest why is that? |

Just to see what happens. Our road is too muddy to ride right now, I've been wondering if I should do the ECM and XB9 primary in one shot or separate. Probably separate, to see what difference each makes. |

Most of my married life I have been the least selfish person in our house. Even my older daughter had to grudgingly admit it. Now college tuitions and college vehicle fleet costs are under control. The youngest daughter is the only one of the four in college now. I finally have some money to spend on myself, just for fun! |

Jesse: We are the same age. My son is 15 & money has always been tight. We are paying into a State prepaid tuition fund for him & we are now at the stage where we have some "spare" cash. My ULY is fairly stock but I am looking forward to being able to spend some cash to improve it. More power to you. You've earned the right. Chris C |

Why do I have to be the same age too? |

Britchri10. Given your profile I can not imagine what you would spend any serious cash on. You already have all the right things on the bike as it is. What were you thinking of doing? |
