The only thing that I never liked about the Uly was the non adjustable clutch lever. I have xxl/ size 12 hands and it is still a very wide span. I did a mod to help with this but it was still a fixed span. For many years now I have looked at new adjustable levers and always drooled over the ASV ones as they were perfect in all areas but they cost a lot more than any of the others did.

Anyway after three years of thinking about it I have just "GONE NUTS" and bought a C5 normal length set and they are amazing. The feel, control, one finger (while riding) adjustment and build quality is just outstanding. They make the OEM ones look like rubbish.

Yes they cost a LOT but worth it and have "topped off" the mods to my Uly. Also it seems fitting to use another quality US product on the Buell as well.

I've been looking @ the ASV levers for a couple of years now.
Clutch is OK with the OEM's but I would like to improve the "feel".
Brake is always on "1" with the OEM adjustable as I run Lyndall Gold pads in the front and any softer setting allows the lever to touch the bars.
The Lyndall pads give a good progressive "feel" to braking on my Uly.

The "feel" that I am talking about is the "wide" face of the lever and the very fine adjustment the ASV levers allow. Also the angle of the lever as it comes back to the grip, which is flat.

I bought a set as a match on the bike but mainly for the wider adjustment and for the easy adjustment for changing to and from winter gloves even on the move. Yes I can "deal" with that but prefer not to if I possible.

Clutch and/ or brake bit points or the type of pad you are using are nothing to do with the brand or type of lever you are using. That is the bike.

Odd 'cause the bike came w/OEM pads (@ c18K miles.)
Lever came nowhere near the bars on adj' settings 1-3 (4 was a little close!).
The change to Lyndalls made the brakes less grabby but really decreased the "pull" necessary to hit bars.
(Maybe I need to bleed my front brake again)
