I hauled a cargo trailer thousands of miles but never on a Uly.. Mines an XT.. Tell me about hitches and trailers, I saw the TrailTail, pretty cool. With some help I could maybe build one?
the reason I want to tow again is my new dog.. I have to ride to parents home every weekend to help out (about 50miles each way).
I don't want to leave the hound home or take a car since I don't even own one. My company gives me a car for work but I can't put all those extra miles on w/out someone noticing. thx, Brad

I'd think you could build one yourself cheaper than you could find/buy one. Even if you bought one, you'd have to make it fit the bike/payload. It wouldn't be hard to make the hitch. Definetly need to get rated tires, wheels and axles for it.

You might have to put a title and license plate on the trailer to be legit, tho.

I had thought quite a bit about building a trailer for my XT. Came down to a single wheel trailer. With a hitch attached to the frame not the axle. Need to put a 2010 wheel on the uly. Using a hitch mounted to the uly axle was asking too much from the swing arm in my opinion. By building it with suspension on its rear and attaching it to the uly frame the whole trailer will ride better and could be tuned to handle in the corners.

Why do you need a trailer?
