Does anyone make or have an oversize flyscreen for the ULY? Maybe something about 2 inches wider on each side. I'm talking about the black plastic part, not the windshield. I have the madstad adv windshield, and I would like to flyscreen to extend far enough on the sides to match it. I thought about using a stock flyscreen to make a mold...........

Others have tried. The buffeting just gets worse as air rushes in below the handlebars to fill in the low air pressure pocket behind the screen. I have one built out of thin aluminum diamond plate, it lasted one ride till I removed it.

Spud, thanks. I just installed the Memphis Shades lower windwings and the improvement is huge. I think that will do it.

Terrycoxusa, can you please post pics of the MS Lowers so I can see how you mounted them? I plan to install a set on my 08 XT and I want to be sure to get them set to the correct height to be effective. Thank you!

Motorbike, here are 3 photos. I just got back from a 50 miles freeway trip, and between the bigger windshield, the adjustable brackets, and the Memphis shades lowers, I have a nice pocket of still air but without any low pressure swirling behind the windshield. Of course, it doesn't compare to my full fairing FJR1300 With the adjustable windshield that I had before, but it's pretty darn good, and 150 lbs lighter.
