On the advice of another I changed it out on the 06 bike but since it was not the problem I kept it and used it to power my mini air pump.

As it was not doing much I have put it on my MZ Baghira as it is near twice the CCA of the Yuasa YB9-B on that bike. It is almost the same size and maybe 10mm taller.

Before fitting it I charged it as it was at 12.5 volts. Once charged the Smart Charger does a test and it should hold at a min of 13.2 volts for 90 seconds. It held at 13.5 volts. That is amazing for a 7-8 year old battery. I find little to fault them.

I sold my 2000 Road King back in 2008 with 16k miles on it (didn't have much time to ride it back then) with the original 8-yr-old OEM battery still in it, still readily firing up that beast at will.

My '06 Uly still has the original OEM battery in it as well (now 9 years old). While it doesn't fire up the bike on the first starter button press, it fires it up on the second one just fine. I might be finally replacing the battery this year, as I will be taking it down to the Dragon this summer and don't want to be stranded.

I recently bought Yuasa-brand motorcycle jumper cables that I have safely stored in my Buell under seat zipper case to ensure I'm not stranded anytime soon. That battery is gone the first time it doesn't fire up the bike. But until then, I'm gonna milk it for all it's worth.....I don't like throwing things out that still work. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I used my 2007 HD AGM to replace my 2011 HD AGM. : (

Pulled the 2007 HD AGM because it was turning slower, put in a brand new 2011 HD AGM, and the 2011 HD AGM would barely turn the bike over after about a year. Grrr.

Put the 2007 back in and keep it on a tender and it works fine in the summer, we will see for the spring.
