I tried to go to work on the MZ but it would not start up, as the battery was going flat, so pulled the Uly back into service. Put the battery back on it, 12.5 volts, and it fired up first time. Massive amounts of creamy torque and little need for gear changes. 90 mph feels like everyone else is standing still. The only problem was the cold, dark and wet weather. Comfy as well.

The MZ is a great bike but not even close to a Uly but that I guess is to be expected.

Man what a great bike.

Took my 12S out for a day ride here on the north Oregon coast today.. stellar weather.. clear, dry & in the mid 50's.. oh my, what fun! she ran strong, even with older "stabiled" fuel in er'.. Got back home and noticed the Ulys batt tender was "blinking" green as if to say "my turn".. I gave in, warmed her up and spun around the neighborhood.. what a long legged steed compared to the lightning! wished I'd had the bags packed for a weekender, but alas.. rain & wind is in the near forcast. Spring's just around the corner fella's, we're "over the hump" & good times are coming
