All I use on my '06.

Never an issue, readily avail and lower cost than HD units

Napa gold I believe are Wix re-badged. I run Wix on all my diesel equipment.

For the cost you can change them more frequently if needed. There is no bipass if this is important to you.

I think most name brand filters are all pretty good at doing what they are supposed to.

Oil is the the cheapest thing related to my bike so i tend to change it more frequently than I probably need to but....

I use them. the NAPAs around here have a sale once or twice a year where all of their filters except the "PS" powersports line go on sale for super cheap. the oil filters go for about $3 then.

The part about not having a bypass isn't true though.

The first one I got at NAPA was a PS/powersport. This year I picked up a few (1394 gold) when they were on sale ($4.36). The sales guy said they were the same except for labeling. I not sure if that's true, just what I was told.

I've installed on my '06 Ulysses, Buell, Mobil, Fram & Purolator filters.
The engine did not seem to care... currently have a OEM filter in place.
