Ok, im prolly not the norm here, but i want to make an 08 xt tall rider friendly. It is coming w the factory low seat, so im guessing thats a good start! Any suggestions? Rework the stock seat? Aftermarket? Any info would be appriciated, this will be my first uly!

Try to find yourself a short guy with a 2006 XB12X and trade.

Those are the tall ones.
Some have complained about some sort of seam that makes your legs fall off but I didn't have that issue.
Once you retrofit that bike to a XB12X, you will never be happier. This is the first bike that finally fits me and makes me feel normal.

Yes just get the tall seat. The original version of the seat has the seams like Nate mentioned, but they later released a revised version of it without the seams but still the same height.

Black is probably better for a yellow bike anyway, the colored vinyl stains easily.

Aside from the factory tall seat, or after market seat, you might be interested in lower foot pegs, longer brake and shift levers, and handle bar risers (all after market). I don't have experience with these (short), but know they're available
