Author Message   Pontlee77 Posted on Sunday, October 20, 2013 - 10:51 am:        I changed the fuel maps on a friends bike because it was way rich, but upon looking his AFV was 63 so i reset it to 100 he did a small ride 2-3 miles and was back to 70 how can it be blocked to 100? I remember reading some where that the AFV could be blocked to 100, maybe where it shows 150 and 60 put both to 100?   Froggy Posted on Monday, October 21, 2013 - 09:46 am:        Yea you can do 100/100 there, but I've always done the turn O2 off thing as it is a few less key presses, but same result. There are multiple causes of it trying to run leaner. Failing sensors or incorrect fuel mapping are the first two that I think of. Edit: I just reread your first post, I would suspect the fuel mapping changes are too rich, and the bike is leaning out. Did he install an OEM fuel pump; excessive fuel pressure might cause a rich condition.   Firemanjim Posted on Monday, October 21, 2013 - 12:55 pm:        First thing to look at is the engine temp sensor, if it reads low it adds a ton of fuel.
