My brother and I just ran out to Kansas City where my brother purchased a 2009 Blue Ulysses. Once we were home I noticed it has a 2010 rear wheel. It also had a Buell tank bag. Just wondered who might have owned it so we could get more information.

Well the bro went to get the title and license and pay the taxes and saw the title with the old owners name. He's from Lawrence Kansas and we can contact him. I'm curious about how much they gave him on trade since the bro got it for $4100.00!! Well worth the 250 mile drive to KC!

How many miles are on it? What kinda shape is it in? Resale value for Ulys and Buells in general is way down. Aftermath of bankruptcy and poor dealer support is taking it's toll (along with a lot of mechanical quirks with the Uly).

12,000 miles. Dropped on the left side with some minor scratches on the puck, front fork guard and the mirror. He took some emory cloth and sanded out all the scratches in the puck. He's getting bigger mirrors anyway so that's not a problem. Still has decent tread on the Trails. Runs a lot quieter than my 06! We haven't been able to find anything really wrong with it. Going to ride it today and see if the primary gearing has been changed. With the low seat and the Rox risers it feels a lot different than the 06. I believe that since it was in a BMW/Triumph dealer and they were strapped for space they just wanted it out of there. Since it was raining they didn't put any bikes outside and it was pretty tight walking around.

Just the tank bag. No XB9 gearing but the 2010 rear wheel was a big plus.
