Alright, here's what I've got: 07 xbx, 20,000 miles, with mid ( 2,500 - 3,500) rpm range stutter and buck in lower gears (1st & 2nd, worst between 25 - 40mph) that smooths out at highway speeds and is mostly un noticable, and some growling from the primary. Recently had the primary open and the clutch removed. Everything is in tip top shape, everything is torqued down perfectly, dang near clean as new, and the clutch assembly, bearings, etc. all look in great shape. this leads me back to believing that A.) my primary is just a little noisy, and B.) my issue must be electrical (see post "at wits end" in this forum for more symptoms) Because the engine is in otherwise great shape.

I want to start checking grounds, check 77 connector and change the spark plugs; maybe even check/replace 02 and engine temp sensor if all else fails (TPS has been reset and throttle thoroughly cleaned). What I'm looking for is

- A thorough list of important grounds, with pictures if possible (the service "tips" bulletin around this forum for the rear ground sites never have pictures, and the service manual is of no help in figuring out how to remove the fuse box...), as well as any tips.
- Any other thoughts as to what might be going on. I have ECMspy, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for.

The ECM was replaced but did not improve the stutter. Fuel pump "sounds" like it is in good condition, but it "feels" like a fueling issue, hence thoughts about grounding. No codes.

Thanks so much bad webbers!

Have you installed new plugs since the symptoms started?

Apeofthoth,
Just a few days ago I replaced the 77 connector on my 06' ULY with two butt splice kits from Menards and they cost $4.77 each. They sell them next to the heat shrink tubes and electrical connectors. I didn't have a problem with the 77 on my bike but my son's had quit moving juice so I figured I experiment by doing the mod on my own ULY. I fixed his for the mean time by just scraping the corrosion off both male and female 77 connector parts with a small screwdriver blade. All is good for now on his bike.
The Menards butt splice kits come with a brass union piece that has 2 set screws to hold the opposing wires. Then you heat shrink the kit supplied thick walled polyolefine heat shrink tube with a heat gun or I suppose a propane torch would do the trick. The heat shrink tube bonds to the wire insulation and actually shrinks right down into the set screw holes so that I'm certain they won't ever be able to back out. Sure to be super water proof.
I'll do my son's 07 ULY this winter when we rotate his engine to fix his rocker cover leak.
My 97 Electraglide has never leaked or seeped a drop. My 06 ULY has never seeped a drop either. Just my son's 07. Probably bought it like that and didn't notice it for a long time.
