I didn't want to high jack another thread so I thought I'd just throw this out there. While at the WV Buell rally I made a run into town. I usually wear ear plugs but the speed never gets above 35 between the park and town so I didn't put them in. I was noticing a buzz coming from the front. Years ago I redid my horn and put a foam strip at the top since I have the Madstad shield with aluminum fly screen. I took it apart to see if my horn had moved but all was ok. I put it back together and finally I saw the problem. The Madstad, when pulled all the way back, will barely touch the brackets. As the windshield vibrates it bounces off the brackets. I moved the shield up an 1/8" and no more buzz. So if you have a Madstad and you're hearing some buzz and your horn is already fixed, raise the shield up a tad.

Well.....The only thing better than resolving a problem is the ice cold beer that comes after! A toast to 'problem resolution'!
