After replacing my OEM Scorps for PR2s I could not get the handling back to what I liked. It seemed like a tire pressure problem so I set it up by "feel" rather than the stock settings. Man what a great bike. The only problem is the cost of fuel as I just want to RIDE, RIDE and RIDE. | ||

How much per liter are you paying for it over there? Where I live its about .99 per liter us dollars, that would be something like .64 british pounds per liter.I think I did that right,maybe I didn't ,I a bit distracted drinking my coffee and thinking of all the post holes I have to dig today in this heat wave we are having,it's supposed to be 85 today (29c) that kind of heat is gonna wilt my lilies. | ||

"So. what pressures did you wind up with?" In this case, with the air temp at 21.6c, front 37 psi and rear at 43 psi. The rear may seem a little high but I weigh a lot. 300 pounds plus my riding gear. Unlike some bikes the tire pressures and suspension setup are not SUPER critical on a Uly. On the other hand if you get them RIGHT you will be amazed at what the bike can do. It can take some time though and while the book "numbers" are a good place to start you need to set them up for yourself and how you like to ride. It should be noted that the 06 bikes front end is not the same as the later bikes and does not handle the same. |
