So after nearly 45K miles, my fronts pads had finally had enough. The time had come for some new stoppers.

I looked around at some different pads. Some were EL-Cheapo Ebay offerings for $10. Galfer's were 33, Lyndalls were 60. And EBC HH were 49 delivered on ebay. I decided on the EBC HH's largely because they are built in the USA, but also because I put EBC's on the back a year or so ago and they have worked well.

So a quick report after about 100 miles: I love them! No pulseing, and great stopping power. I believe they will last a long time, and am very happy to buy parts made right here in the USA!

I have them front and rear and have no problems. Just fitted a new set on the front. This bike needs sintered HH type pads if you want it to stop good and much better than the OEM ones.

I find the rears are very good and no need for any of that costly Brembo stuff. The fronts are very good as well and now my new ones are bedded in I can pull up fast with just one finger.

Do not let them run below 2mm or you get onto the rivet and if you have not done it yet flush the brake fluid. It makes the brakes even better.

I find the combination of EBC's front and Lyndalls rear work the best (for me). The Lyndalls on the rear improve the rear brakes' stopping just a touch but it is noticeable (and needed).
