I also added an LED strip inside my topcase lens. The emergency light I leave steady-on - it's too bright to flash, I'd give someone a seizure at a light! I have mine set for alternate/1200. Not really a "flash", but looks almost like a vibration. Some states do not allow a mod that would make the OEM lights flash or anything other than what they did fresh off the assembly line. Of course this is just a nuisance regulation.
