I was wondering what MC would be the ideal for the 8 piston caliper i mean of the radial ones as i see there are many options but don't know the right size one. i'm looking for soft lever but hard braking.

Thanks.

I use the Nissin 19mm Radial from American Sport Bike on my ZTL2 equipped XB. It is fantastic.

I am still using the stock MC on my ZTL2 1125s, but that is because I am too cheap to upgrade them. The stock MC works fine, but the radial does have a better feel and seems like it has more stopping power. Could be just in my head though.

If you have not done it yet you may wish to try flushing your front brakes with new oil, as they seem to need it every 5k miles, for good braking. Also sintered pads front and rear from someone like SBS or EBC work well. Its cheap and easy to do and a I find the brakes good enough for the road. I liked SBS but they are hard to find now in the UK so use EBC.

Brake system parts tend to be matched to each other and while you can change things about care needs to be taken. It can be a costly exercise as well. Also those Buell 8 pot caliper pads do not come cheap either. But if you are going to do this, since you are in the EU, I might go for the 19mm Brembo. The one with duel set up. They do two types and this is the one that costs the most. About 330 UKP.
