my throttle idle adjustment cable is not attached to anything, found it on the floor of the garage, not sure where it goes on the bike. Has a screw/bolt with a spring on it on one end, guessing there was a nut and or washer that fell off but not sure where it attaches to... help!

it goes just under the throttle cables on the throttle body, if you have a bit of patience you can fit it back in with out the need of taking the TB off.

TPS should be ok unless it wasn't running right before hand. If you do a tps reset, do it with a hot engine.

Well, you may be right but after screwing it back in to a random setting I don't know what it did to my idle settings, so I did a TPS reset using ECM spy just in case, set 1050-1150 at 160 deg C and it is smooth as butter on a quick 10 mile ride. My wife helped me get the adjustment cable installed again, I was not sure where it went and it was a pain to get it and my hands were just too big to fit in there. Thanks guys for your help!
