what is the per bag weight limit for your hard bags?

I obtained a set with mounting rails and My project is for fitting them to my 1125

I am going to assume you are talking about the journey cases,(The larger of the two sets.)I'm thinking something low like 15 pounds(per bag) is the official limit, but it might be 20.

I personally have gone past 20 many times with no ill effects. Maybe 30. I have the soft bag inserts and stuff them full when on long trips.

Two twelve packs. Per side. I know this because I used to live in Utah, and it was a two hour mountain road to Evanston, Wyoming.

I agree with Ski, I haven't done it often but 1time when I went camping I put 2 12's in one side and firewood in the other for a worst-case scenario, if interested everything turned out OK ... when I checked the next day there was ice close by
