My 08 Ulysses I just bought came with a Race ECM in the box. Looks like he swapped it out with the standard when he sold it. I contacted EBR and they told me it was Buell OEM, not their's, but they did tell me it's set up for the Pro Series exhaust, which my bike does not have. My bike runs pretty smooth with the standard ECM, bogs a little, but doesn't have the popping on deceleration that I have read about. Should I bother installing the race ECM since I don't have the correct exhaust for it? Will it improve anything without the Pro Series exhaust? I'm pretty sure it does have a K&N Air Filter. Thanks for any help or expertise you can give me. |

Can you post a picture of the said ECM? There was no publicly sold P&A Race ECM for the 08+ bikes. |

Box says 2007 Buell Ulysses. Will it still work?

The guys are EBR are right, that is a ECM for the Buell Race Pipe. Also, that ECM is for 04-07 XB12s, so it won't even work on your bike. Sell it, and use the funds towards buying a Race ECM for your 08 stock bike, it is a substantial improvement over stock. |

It would be nice to collect a table about ECM numbers... Seems that ebay is full of different ecms I found this info from buellxb.com 32620-03Y - '04-later XB12R AND XB12S 32814-02YA - '03-'04 XB9R AND XB9S 82007-02Y - '05-later XB9R AND XB9SX (Message edited by jamba on April 27, 2013) |
