Well after the thread I started about the 9 primary and/or the EBR ECM, I received the EBR ECM and now the new drummer will be here hopefully by Friday and I can't freaking wait. I am so excited to experience the bike un-corked (so to speak) and will be letting all the badwebbers know how this turns out. Whoooo hooooo.....

So let me get this straight. I have the cable disconnected to the exhaust valve and I keep it off with the EBR ECM installed. But do I or should I UNPLUG the exhaust electrical harness from the servo motor or can I keep it connected? tanks for your time.

Leave the connector plugged in at the servo mtr.
The ECM won't know if it's opening the valve or not.

Great thanks.. I have been researching for a couple days and keep getting conflicting information. Cable disconnect but leave electric hooked up, got it. Thanks again.

Ok, so my wife and I installed it last night. Bad news: UPS probably dropped it and there is a big dent on the front of the can. Mostly hidden by the chin spoiler. Started it up after tps reset. Expected the higher revs. No problem. Idle ten minutes. Rode around town without ear plugs. Loud. Felt sluggish. Got gas and then ran it like Kevin advised this time with ear plugs. Smooth, powerful, much less surge. But loud. Worried if my wife and I will be able to use the sena's anymore. I notice that Kevin welds the end cap now instead of three bolts. BTW upgraded core wrap. 50 miles. So far so good.

The good : Pulls strong. New fan logic. Pulls strong.
I'm hopeful that the volume settles down after a few miles. Kevin said more pronounced with core wrap so it's louder than my old drummer. Now for the 9 gearing next year......

I have the drummer quiet insert. That muffled it a little too much so I drilled out the core of it and it's just right.

Good addition to add some flexibility to your can.
