Author Message   Pontlee77 Posted on Sunday, March 10, 2013 - 09:08 am:        Hello my o& Uly was working fine up until today while riding it was spluttering around 3k revs,and above too, was like a loose of power and suddenly it comes and goes making the bike pull and push so i coulden't adjust my body to the power income, any suggestions? i do use premium (98) gas here in spain. If i run the ecmspy it doesen't show any thing, nor does the dash light come on.   Tootal Posted on Sunday, March 10, 2013 - 12:54 pm:        That sounds like the front spark plug wire shorting out. If it feels like somebody is turning a switch on and off then it's most likely electrical. After riding for a while?   Reepicheep Posted on Monday, March 11, 2013 - 04:30 pm:        Simple checks that aren't common failures, but that have been known to fail: 1) Throttle body butterfly (remove aircleaner and inspect) 2) Cam Position Sensor (look at tach when the bike is stuttering and see if its jumping all over the place, or better yet, put an oscilloscope on it). Two easy checks, don't get hung up on those problems though, it could be other things. Those are just two easy checks.   Pontlee77 Posted on Monday, March 11, 2013 - 05:17 pm:        I'm wondering if i got some water on the tank as when i pulled the gas house some liquid came out and i didn't notice the smell of gas. first i left the bike on to heat up the engine, after 1km riding it started, was not to bad but it got worse and worse so i drove back home.   Red450 Posted on Monday, March 11, 2013 - 09:10 pm:        Sounds similar to how my bike acted. Clean/replace your IAT sensor, it's a cheap sensor (at least here in the States). Also, check to make sure your TPS sensor isn't loose. After I replaced the IAT and did a mechanical TPS zeroing in the same night, my bike has been back to normal.
