Ok, hooked up the ECM spy,key and kill switch on and I get reads on the gauge screen on everything but the TPS voltage. I can go thru the diagnostic and reset the TPS but still no voltage read and wicking the throttle does nothing. I have no idea if it actually did anything? I can say I backed out the idle speed 6 full turns and when I was done I had to screw it back in 8 turns to achieve a sustainable idle speed. Any ideas?

Well the way to do it, if you have not, is to take off the air box, wind out the idle, look down the throttle body and "flick" the throttle to ensure that the butterfly is 100% closed. Then zero the TPS and adjust the idle to about 1050 rpm.

You should see the TPS go up in ECM-SPY, to about 5.6, as you do this. If you still get nothing your TPS sensor may be toast. Log a run for the data is the best thing to do otherwise its nothing but guess work.

Is the voltage field blank or does it not change after the initial read when ECMSpy connects?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the ECM Spy, looked the same. Hooked everything back up and opened the gauge window. This was without backing off on the TB,but where it would idle around normal and the voltage read was 5.2. The voltage and TPS slide screen still will not move when applying throttle. I think Im having some issues with comunication ports. I use the auto search and it looks at port 4 and 6. It said 6 was open last night but still the same as far as no TPS action when workin the throttle. I need to run up to North county this am so I'll put another 50 miles on her and see how it runs. I did back off the timing a couple days ago one mark (1mm), ran better than before with what seemed like better take off/off the bottom characteristics and couldn't get it to ping at all.
Be nice to find a close Bueller here on the Central coast of Kali with experience to lend a hand.

After a few days of attempts without luck, I was pointed in the right direction by another member here : ). So yes, I am happy to say I finally got it.
Thanks all
