I have the Firstgear (Warm and Safe) jacket liner for myself but I wanted to know if I bought my wife the 65 watt jacket liner for her, would the Uly be able to handle that demand from the alt/battery? Also I have the
Harley-Davidson® Y-Plug Splitter, For Heated Clothing 98539-04V, can I feed both jackets through this or should I set each one connected to the battery individually. One more thing, will the new jacket need a heat troller or can I just run it straight through? tanks for your time.

Individual wiring.

Run a second pigtail to the grab rail. I did years ago and it worked fine. No charging issues (I assume you have a volt monitor).

Get a heat-troller for her. Unless she wants one of two positions - freeze, or cook.

The pigtail is the wire that attaches to the battery, and has the plug for the heat-troller.

I ran mine back under the seat, through a gap under the grab rail, and zip tied it with about 6" of loose wire at the end.

What would happen if I used the split "pigtail" for both the 90 watt jacket in one hole and the 65 watt jacket in the other hole?

You'd overload the wiring, it's not heavy enough gauge. If the split pigtail is plugged into a heat-troller, you'll overload that too.

You're welcome to try...but for the price of a $12 pigtail it's not worth it in my book. Just do it the right way.
