Enjoy your Uly they're great bikes. After having said that I just sold my '08 Uly and put a deposit on a 2013 Triumph Street Triple, do you see a pattern here?

Welcome. My Dad's from Jarrow. (Long time ago!)
When do we get to sample your product in the USA?

Thanks for the welcome guys, as to the beer, we have exported to the States many times in both cask and bottle form. We have also trained many new brewers from the USA, who have gone on to do great things. I love visiting your country and wish I had set the brewery up over there, it would be a blast. I am by the way, a member of the Harley Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain, who are 67 years young, who have an active buell membership, mostly ulysses.

FL's are fun in the twisties! Just at a slower pace, that's all!
Nothing like sharpening your foot boards!

Was that the one on eBay for 3500GBP? I was looking at one there to have shipped down to Las Palmas a couple months ago. Was trying to get him down to 2500 on it...

I bought it on e-bay, but it was advertised at £4500, but I got it for £3900. A good price for an 09 bike, one owner, 9000 miles and a full main dealer service history.
I have not seen any Ulysses for £2500, cheapest is £3000 and thats for an 05/06 bike over here in the UK.

Yup - I am with ya: Ulysses is awesome.

I got an 08 XB12X a few weeks back, so now I'm selling my Electra-Glide. It's not my first Buell, but so far it "feels" like the best all 'round bike I've ever owned. I'm thinking it is the perfect "if I only own 1 bike" choice.

Someday:

Don't you feel the Street Triple is much less comfortable than the Uly? I'm only 6'0 but I when I rode the ST, it felt cramped. Seems like the 800 would have been a better fit.

3900 is about 6300 bucks. I bought my 2008 for 4K. he was starting out at 6500 and I just waited him out until he called me and said OK. I've owned a lot of bikes, its the way I do it almost every time. I'm on to a 1987 XT600 now, just for a beat around bike on Miami Beach. Its how you have to go after these type bikes- obsolete, unable to finance through normal channels- cash is the only way with these, so a stack of 100's works wonders...
