Wifey gave me an early present. Actually she bought me the bike as well, in September, and my FL Bobber in June, so pretty lucky this year.  And its not even Christmas. Yet. And no, I still couldn't load them here, so here's a link- http://www.vintageairstreamforums.com/gallery/show gallery.php?cat=590 I'm not pushing them around corners right now, so don't ask me about that, and doubt I'll ever lean on it too much, but I pushed it up to 100 yesterday on the Julia Tuttle Causeway and it felt fine. You feel some little bumping from the knobs at a slow speed, but not bad. I like the look anyway, so we'll see how they last and I'll judge if I replace with them or try the Dunlops. I paid 250 for the rear and 155 for the front from my shop who installed them. I probably could have saved something, but don't like to screw him around like that. | ||

Funny Chorizo! She's been playing pro basketball in Spains Liga Feminina and investing her money on my advice, so when she hits a good payoff, she rewards me. She's not ugly if you're wondering about that. She's way younger than me, and 6'1" with long blond hair and a kickin body. I'm lucky for sure, 100%. She does love eating chorizo though, so who knows... Cross your fingers. My theory is you don't miss out on the chick, you just miss your turn. They all come around in due time.  | ||

RCF2- 100MPH. No problems at high speeds, dry roads, no turns except weaving between cars. Bumps lightly felt at slow speeds when coming to a stop or just starting, but barely. Wife was following, said it was smooth and stable from behind. Flew by her at about 90 while climbing so she could see it. BuellDS- Thanks, I like 'em, not sure everyone will. I have the same on my 2002 Tigger 955i, but only had it up to about 85, its not as smooth at high speeds. These are known for being problematic when you corner on them in the first 250 miles, because the knobs are supposed to be slippery until they have some texture. I'm not leaning much, so won't affect me anyway, but wasn't pushing my luck anyway. | ||

Not now, not ever. I'm a warm weather guy. Spent one winter in Riga, Latvia. That was enough- no real sunlight every day and -45c at night. Even in summer I want nothing below 68f for night temps. | ||

Thanks Blake. I know I paid too much, but my guy ordered them and he's gotta make a bit, so was OK. $323 is awesome. I was even out of the country when he got my command to order them, so I wasn't even able to receive them, so for me its fair that he makes more $. Who knows what he paid, probably through Sucker-Rocky or whatever they're called now. I love the way they look, so far they feel great, will go into some fields and light trails in the next week, I hope. Anything more gritty than that, I'll be on one of my TT600's before I ship them to Costa Rica. Ride safe! | ||

This is a really dangerous thread... Here I sit, planning a big dual sport ride around the MI upper peninsula for next spring... up to 1000 miles in a week. I have an offer to borrow a perfectly good XR650L, which would be the ideal bike for that ride. But I also have thoroughly scuffed Uly with a salvage title sitting in the garage. And the UP is fairly flat and fairly sandy. Then seeing those pictures... I'm getting all sorts of terrible ideas... | ||
