A while ago I found I had a leaking right hand fork. I did the "seal clean" thing and after testing it all was well. After a few miles it leaked again so I did it again. Six trys later and not being able to make it leak I figure there is something else going on because no matter how hard I tried I could not make it leak. I suspected the fork dust seal so bagged up the fork to test it.





200 miles later and no leaks so it is the dust seal and maybe dust from the brake pads.





I checked the right dust seal with the left one and it has a lot of wear and easy to put a thick piece of paper under it.





I have fitted a set of Kriega "off road" fork seal/gatores which I hope will keep the dust out of the fork seal. Not cheap but cheaper than changing the dust seal. We will see if it works any.
