I've come across a race ECM and need to know if its compatable with my XT. The number on the box is 32620-03y-sub.

Also, would the ECM have this number stamped on it any where? Wouldn't want to buy a standard ECM in the packaging of a race ECM!

When you look it up in parts book it just says ECM XB12. Not sure if it helps you. Thats the problem about buying used.

Didn't the race ECM's have "RACE USE ONLY", or something like that, stamped/burned into the outer cover?

Those numbers don't mean anything to me.
My 08 XB12XT EBR RACE ONLY ECM has 1 label on it:

A white background label with M31PA282 in black letters.

It also has RACE USE ONLY engraved into the case

My OEM ECM has a white label with Y0152.1AMA09350 and the S/N printed on it

A GB231 wouldn't work with an 2008+ bike like the XT. Compare the connectors and you will see.
