My battery strap has bust? LOL.

Apart from that, touch wood, the bike seems to be getting better on power, it is still not quite run in yet, but is moving closer to how the 06 bike was. Maybe another 2000 miles.

Out on it today. 110 at 6k rpm no problem. I did have the Scorps at 36 and 38 psi cold but found that to low for my style/weight. Reset to 38 and 40 psi and it is great. Man I just love how this bike handles. And thats on the Scorps as well???

The DDFI-3 seems to work fine with my aftermarket Stealth can. It is not lean, runs right, idles right and pulls like a train with no pops etc. Great off gas engine braking. Nice sound but not to loud.

With the aftermarket mirrors and my bar weights I get very little vibs and past 3k on the highway none at all. I can even read peoples number plates through them?

Sitting on the bike at idle it has very low vibs and minimum "teeth chatter". You get most at 1500 to 2000 rpm and with a cold idle through the screen. No hand vibs now either.

It will run in first at almost no speed without the need to feather the clutch or the feeling it will stale. You can ride the bike quite hard and just use engine braking most of the time. I use EBC HH pads both ends and they will pull the bike up real fast.

Sweet, always nice once you start to get things ironed out. I just ordered me some of the hvmp extra heavy weights myself.

Ride safe

Funny how your bike is moving closer to the power you were used to with the 06 bike. Froggy likes to tell everyone that the 08/10 bikes are so much better in every way. Crock. I honestly wouldn't take an even up trade for an 08/09 bike for my 06. I would for the 10 bike only because of the rarity and the added O2 sensor.

My 06 bike was run in at 6k the 2010 bike is only on 4900. Needs maybe 2k more. I only have the 2010 bike because the 06 one was stolen. If I still had it I would not have traded/sold it for anything.

08/10 bikes "better" than the 06? I would say more "refined" than better. Ok they have stronger cranks, faster DDFI and things but the "core" of the bike is much the same. Frame, power, suspension, handling etc. Most people would not notice the difference between my 06 and 2010 bikes if they rode them "back-to-back".

Uly_man, unfortunately your 2010 will never have the same power as your 06, short of doing a full system exhaust. EG_1997 doesn't know that your bike is down on power from the factory due to the spaghetti narrow headers that 08+ EU bikes came with. Put a Micron or other full system on, get proper tuning, and enjoy the bike running at its peak.

I know its never going to be 100% the same as the 06 bike without bigger headers but once run in I hope it will be close enough. I had thought the "strangled" feeling from the engine was the headers but the new can has helped as has more miles. We will see? The bike does not want to lift the front as easy as the 06 bike did but that may be something else like the throttle cam or ECM control. It is not much of an issue for me though and I prefer better control when I need it.

"doing a full system exhaust." Yes that would be nice. Cost is the main problem.
