Author Message   Jasonb Posted on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 - 09:18 pm:        I rode to the 'Roar on the Shore' rally in Erie,Pa this past weekend. While at my inlaws waiting for them to get the street glide and Tri glide ready, I pushed the Uly out on the drive to warm up. I turned around to pick up my helmet and my sister in law yells, ' Oh, bike is down!' I didn't realize the downgrade of the drive and (I guess) the bike scooted forward on the kick stand until it just rotated back and the bike when down. No major damage other than the clutch lever is now a shorty and some more scuffs on the side bags and scuffs on the hand guards. I felt about an inch tall. I may have swore too. Anyone have an extra clutch lever before I buy one off Al? The 0 ring I tied the forks to on the tire chock came loose and got worse when I did some unplanned rough roading in Kansas. I heard and felt a clunk and checked its status almost immediately thru the man-door when we checked into our kampground. I wanted to vomit right then and there when I saw it but they do look so peaceful when they are sleeping! The nice manager at the Kampground helped me right it faster than I could have by myself. A visit to the farm store the next day for some locktite assured no repeat of those narcoleptic behaviors. The only casualty in our 8500 mile journey was one lollipop mirror. That will be remedied soon as I just heard the doorbell and the Big Brown Xmas truck with my new to me Aprilia tuono mirrors. Thank you Santa Greg!!! I'm getting ready soon to go outside and contend with the heat and the mozzies!
