I bought the bike used, but going on what the previous owner told me the rear tire has about 4K on it (3k from me). I liked the tire but I'm looking for something with a little longer life. I thought the D616 was a good combo of street and dirt ability, and would like to stay with a tire that can handle similar conditions. I ride approx. 95/5 street to unpaved ratio. Any suggestions? I've read through the tire section in the knowledge vault, but there's almost too much info there.   Uly_man Posted on Friday, July 06, 2012 - 02:03 pm:        "there's almost too much info there." Thats because people like different things and with rubber there is no "one for all". I think the Scorps are a good balance of on and off road. On road the PR2s are just right for me. Like I said, I'm a 95/5 on road/off road rider looking for a tire similar to the D616 but with longer tread life than 4K. Any issues with leaving the D616 front on? The front has plenty of life left. Some do but I never mix brands and/or types.   Froggy Posted on Friday, July 06, 2012 - 02:39 pm:        I would switch the front, the D616 will cause handling issues as it starts to wear. Headshake at high speeds is never fun!
